As a business owner, you may find that other companies contact you to sell products or services. If you don’t want to receive advertising calls, you can get advertising protection. It’s free, fast and can be activated via Virk.dk.
How to ad-protect your business
Follow this step-by-step guide to register your business with advertising protection in the CVR register:
- Go to www.virk.dk
- Select "Change company"
- Click on "Start self-service"
- Log in with your company details (NemID or MitID Erhverv)
- Check "Terms of use" and select "Continue"
- Search for the company name or CVR number and select "Change company"
- In the menu on the left: select "Master data" → "Address information and advertising protection"
- Check "I want to protect the company from advertising"
- Press "Save and continue", then "Go to approval"
Within approximately 24 hours, the change is complete and the advertising protection will be visible in the CVR register.
What does advertising protection mean?
Advertising protection means that your company cannot be contacted for advertising purposes without consent. Other companies can still contact you for existing customer relationships or collaborations, but not for sales outreach.
With advertising protection, you avoid unwanted calls and can focus on your business.
The process is simple, free and can be removed at any time if your needs change.
